This volume was published to accompany a major exhibit of Venetian glass at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York. Its rich illustrations and pictures highlight the best of Venetian glass but also shows examples of Venetian glass made, not in Venice, but in other countries of the world, who managed to attract Italian glass makers to their shores.
